Are my gates up to the current European safety regulations?

What happens in the event of a power failure?
In the event of a power failure you can put the gates onto manual, allowing you to open and close them. Some systems also come with a battery back up that will work like normal when power goes off.
How often do I need my gates serviced?
Regular servicing is recommended on electric gate, but how often depends on the amount of usage. Large commercial gates that are used throughout the day should be serviced at least twice a year, maybe three or four times. Low use residential gates can get away with just 1 service a year.
